Greetings,
I just took reciept of a Scott Walker video from the UK. While I'm familiar with most of the footage (Climate Of Hunter and Tilt promo stuff, the Later appearance, some Walker Bros. lip-syncs) the real draw here was Scott solo on Dusty Springfield's 60s variety show singing When Joanna Loved Me and Mathilde. Fuck Yeah!! The troublesome thing is on PAL however and Lost Weekend's transfer machine is busted, so in order for me (and you in turn) toactually watch it, someone needs to know a Scott fan or otherwise charitable party in possesion of or with access to a PAL-to-NTSC deck. This party would then be able to make some copies for themselves in exchange for making no more than three for me. Make me proud Scott fans!!

Re: Scott Alert!
Mon, July 18, 2005 - 1:36 AMNo, no-one ever responded. It's almost as though nobody in the Scott Walker tribe likes Scott that much. Funny.
Anyhow, some jack-asses made a transfer of it for me, or maybe they haven't yet. I'll message you when I know for sure... -

Re: Scott Alert!
Mon, July 25, 2005 - 11:08 PMthat really sucks that the "real" scott admirers shall go without seeing the man who could make a song "for the people who live in a shell".
i'd kill to see sir scott doing a tv show in the 60's!
if you ever find someone to work out the pal footage, you will have a treasure on your hands. i wish i could help but i don't have the proper gear. *sad face*
