I just saw "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" and it has a odd soundtrack, most of which is David Bowie songs done accoustically in portugese. In the middle of the movie they played "30th Century Man"

Tue, January 18, 2005 - 1:09 PMThere is a deleted scene on the dvd of Love, Actually in which Liam Neeson lip-synchs to an entire Scott track. It's one of the Joanna songs, either Joanna proper or When Joanna Loved Me.
It being an English film and a mainstream one at that, it gives you a good idea of how Scott is an iconic figure there, a common showbiz reference point, as opposed to the ever-obscure cult figure he is here.
