"The legendary Scott Walker has finished his first complete album in over ten years, due for release on 4AD of all places, in May. The Drift is the name of the album and 30 Century Man is the name of the documentary of Scott Walker, directed by Stephen Kijak, also scheduled for release in 2006."
This is going to be a great spring for new music, with LONG-AWAITED new albums from: Current 93, C93 guitarist/songwriter Michael Cashmore, and Little Annie Anxiety (produced by Antony)... Maybe La Monte Young will even release a recording of the Trio For Strings which he revived last year in several performances (I hope)...

Fri, January 20, 2006 - 10:50 AMYes! Scott has been signed to 4AD for a while but I was wondering if anything was going to come of it anytime soon. I must say, I love Scott Walker's pacing. Reminds me of Kate Bush whose new album, after 15 or so years since her last, is fantastic. What will Sir Walker have in store for us? -
